About the Turkey vehicle board

The vehicle board is the other side of the load board: instead of loads looking for trucks, it lists trucks and vans with free capacity looking for loads. Brokers, forwarders and shippers use it to find a carrier near their pickup on the right date; carriers use it so that work comes to them.

Turkish carriers post trucks for export loads to Europe and for return loads home. Turkish-registered trucks need road permits for EU countries and may not do domestic loads (cabotage) inside the EU.

Also known as: araç borsası (Turkish), boş araç (Turkish: empty truck).

How it works

  1. Carriers list a vehicle with its current location, available date, type and capacity.
  2. Brokers and shippers filter by location, date and vehicle type.
  3. Members with a paid, active plan see the carrier’s contact details and agree the job directly.

Questions

Can Turkish trucks carry domestic loads inside the EU?

No. Cabotage in the EU is reserved for hauliers with an EU Community licence; Turkish trucks carry international loads under road permits.

What is the Turkey vehicle board?

A list of trucks and vans that carriers have marked as available, with their location, available date, vehicle type and capacity, so brokers and shippers in Turkey can find transport for a load.

Can anyone see the trucks?

Yes, the board can be browsed without an account. Licence plates, VINs and carrier contact details are never shown publicly; contacting a carrier needs a paid, active membership.

How do carriers list a truck?

Carriers add vehicles from their account and mark them available. Accounts in Turkey see vehicles and loads in Europe, United Kingdom and Turkey.
