How forwarders use the marketplace
- Post the load: pickup and delivery, dates, vehicle type, weight and your rate.
- Carriers who see the load register interest; you choose who to work with.
- Search the vehicle board for trucks already listed as available on your lane.
Where your loads are seen
- A load posted in the European market is visible to accounts registered in Europe, the UK and Turkey.
- UK loads are visible to UK, European and Turkish accounts.
- US loads are visible to US accounts only.
Loads and trucks on the same platform
Forwarders work both sides: they post loads for carriers and look for trucks that are already free on a lane. The vehicle board lists trucks that carriers have marked as available, with location and date, so you can find a carrier before posting.
For your own trucks, search the load board from each delivery point to find a return load.
Published pricing
Standard membership: Europe €79, UK £67, USA $29.99, Turkey €79 per month. Quarterly and six-month plans cost less per month.
Frequently asked questions
Does GigFreight take a commission on loads?
No. GigFreight charges a membership fee; the rate is agreed between the poster and the carrier.
Can I post cross-border loads?
Yes. Each load has its own origin and destination country, and it is listed in the market of the account that posts it.
Is GigFreight a load board for freight forwarders?
Yes. GigFreight is a load board (freight exchange) where forwarders post loads and carriers find them, in Europe, the UK, the USA and Turkey. Loads are posted from a broker account of a verified company, and each account reaches only its own markets.
