A freight exchange for European road transport

GigFreight is an online freight exchange (in German Frachtenbörse, in Polish giełda transportowa) where brokers, forwarders and shippers post truck loads and carriers find them across Europe. Anyone can browse the board; contact details on loads need a paid membership, which costs €79 a month in Europe after a 3-day free trial.

What you can do on the European exchange

  • Search loads by origin and destination country and city, pickup date, vehicle type and weight.
  • Sort by rate or by price per kilometre to compare loads on different distances.
  • Post loads as a broker, forwarder or shipper and receive interest from carriers.
  • List available trucks on the vehicle board so shippers can find capacity.
  • See European and UK freight from one account — EU and UK accounts see Europe and United Kingdom.

Country load boards

The same European inventory is available filtered by the country where the load is picked up:

Who can see what

  • Load boards can be browsed without an account. Visitors see the route, dates, equipment and price of each load, but not the poster’s contact details.
  • Broker and shipper contact details on a load are shown only to members with a fully paid, active subscription. A trial gives access to the platform but not to load contact details.

Frequently asked questions

Is GigFreight a freight broker?

No. GigFreight is a marketplace: it lists loads that brokers, forwarders and shippers post, and carriers contact the poster directly. GigFreight is not a party to the transport contract.

Which European countries are covered?

Is the site available in German, Polish or Czech?

After sign-in the app is available in German, Polish, Czech, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Turkish (language selector in the profile); the public load boards are in English, and place names and country filters work for every European country.
