About the Germany load board
The Germany load board shows freight on GigFreight whose pickup is in Germany — domestic runs and international loads leaving German hubs for neighbouring countries. It draws on the same European inventory as the Europe board, filtered to German origins.
Germany sits on the main east–west and north–south road corridors of the EU, so loads starting here often continue to Poland, the Czech Republic, the Benelux countries, France, Austria and Italy.

Rules for trucks in Germany
- Tolls
- Germany charges a distance-based truck toll (LKW-Maut) on motorways and federal roads for vehicles over 3.5 t, with a CO₂ component.
- Driving bans
- Germany bans trucks over 7.5 t on Sundays and public holidays from 00:00 to 22:00, and on many motorways on Saturdays in July and August from 07:00 to 20:00.

- Many German cities have low-emission zones (Umweltzonen) that trucks may only enter with the green emissions sticker.
Planning in Germany
- Seasons and calendars
- On Saturdays in July and August many German motorways are closed to trucks over 7.5 t from 07:00 to 20:00, on top of the Sunday and holiday ban — plan summer weekend runs around it.
- Weights
- 40 t gross is the general limit (44 t for combined-transport legs to and from rail terminals and ports).

How the board works
- Brokers and shippers post a load with route, dates, equipment, weight and rate.
- Carriers filter the board by origin, destination, date and vehicle type, and sort by rate or rate per kilometre.
- Members with an active paid subscription see the poster’s contact details and agree the job directly with them.

Questions about this board
Do trucks pay tolls in Germany?
Germany charges a distance-based truck toll (LKW-Maut) on motorways and federal roads for vehicles over 3.5 t, with a CO₂ component.
Can I browse Germany loads without an account?
Load boards can be browsed without an account. Visitors see the route, dates, equipment and price of each load, but not the poster’s contact details.
How much does the Germany load board cost?
Standard membership for the Europe market costs €79 a month, €199 per quarter or €359 per six months. Elite, which adds Elite loads and priority matching, costs €129 a month. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial; you can cancel before it ends. Prices are in EUR.
Who can see loads on the Germany board?
Anyone can browse the listings. Accounts registered in the Europe market see loads in Europe and United Kingdom. Posting loads is restricted to active paid subscribers and valid trials: the load is posted from a broker account — shippers and forwarders use the same account type — of a verified company, and is published in that account’s own markets. Carriers and owner-operators use the board to find work.
Are broker contact details included in the free trial?
Broker and shipper contact details on a load are shown only to members with a fully paid, active subscription. A trial gives access to the platform but not to load contact details.
