How much does a load board cost?

Load board subscriptions usually cost tens to a few hundred dollars or euros a month, depending on the market and the features. Of the providers below that publish prices, US carrier plans ranged from $39 to $339 a month and European exchanges from free listings to €105 a month, when checked on 2026-10-14. GigFreight costs €79 a month in Europe, £67 in the UK and $29.99 in the USA.

Browsing vs posting: what is free

  • Free: Load boards can be browsed without an account. Visitors see the route, dates, equipment and price of each load, but not the poster’s contact details.
  • Paid: Posting loads is restricted to active paid subscribers and valid trials: the load is posted from a broker account — shippers and forwarders use the same account type — of a verified company, and is published in that account’s own markets.
  • Broker and shipper contact details on a load are shown only to members with a fully paid, active subscription. A trial gives access to the platform but not to load contact details.

Plans are not like-for-like: user counts, contract terms, credit checks and included tools differ. Compare what each plan includes, not only the price.

What changes the price

  • Number of users or trucks on the account.
  • Contract length — quarterly and annual plans usually cost less per month.
  • Extras such as credit reports, payment guarantees, tracking and rate data.
  • Whether contact details are included — some free tiers show loads but hide contacts.
