Getting Started

What is GigFreight?

GigFreight is a freight load board connecting carriers, owner-operators, dispatchers, brokers and shippers across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. Brokers and shippers post loads; carriers search, apply and track them through to delivery.

Does GigFreight operate in the United States?

Yes. GigFreight operates in the United States and provides a freight load board for carriers, owner-operators, brokers and shippers across the country.

Does GigFreight operate in the United Kingdom?

Yes. GigFreight operates in the United Kingdom and provides a freight load board for carriers, owner-drivers, brokers and shippers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Does GigFreight operate in Europe?

Yes. GigFreight operates across Europe and provides a freight load board for carriers, transport companies, brokers and shippers on domestic and cross-border lanes.

Is GigFreight free to use?

Browsing the load boards is free, without an account. Broker contact details, posting loads and the signed-in tools need a subscription. Every plan starts with a 3-day trial: a payment method is collected at checkout and the first charge is made when the trial ends (on the US Founding Member plan, $1 is charged at signup for the first 3 days, then $29.99/month). Broker contact details unlock once your first paid period has been paid — they are not shown during the trial.

What roles can I register as?

You can register as a Carrier (driver or fleet owner), Dispatcher (freight manager), or Broker (shipper). Your role determines what features are available to you.

Do I need to verify my company?

Brokers need a verified company to post loads. For carriers and dispatchers verification is optional; verified companies receive a badge on their profile, which increases trust with brokers and carriers.

Loads & Searching

Which countries are covered?

GigFreight operates in four markets: Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States (all 50 states) and Turkey. Accounts registered in Europe or the UK see European and UK loads; Turkish accounts also see Turkish loads; US accounts see US loads. GigFreight covers road freight only — not air freight or maritime shipping.

What vehicle types are supported?

We support Curtainsider (Tautliner), Refrigerated (Reefer), Box Trailer, Flatbed, Low Loader, Tanker, Container, Van, and more. Distances and weights are shown in km and kg in Europe, the UK and Turkey, and in miles and pounds in the United States.

What is the Elite load tier?

Elite is a subscription tier for loads that are only visible to Elite subscribers. Brokers choose Elite visibility when they want fewer, more committed applicants.

Can I save loads and come back later?

Yes. Any logged-in carrier or dispatcher can save loads to their Saved list and return to them from the Driver Dashboard.

How do I contact a broker?

Broker contact details are shown on the load page to members with a paid, active subscription (not during the trial). You can also click "Express Interest" on a load to let the broker know you want it; the broker can accept or decline.

Posting Loads (Brokers)

How do I post a load?

Go to New Load in your dashboard. Fill in the pickup and delivery details, vehicle type, weight and rate. Loads are saved as drafts by default — you publish them when ready.

Can I duplicate a load I posted before?

Yes. From the Broker Dashboard, click the Duplicate button on any load. A copy is created as a Draft for you to edit before publishing.

What happens when a driver expresses interest?

You receive an in-app notification. The load status changes to "Has Interest". You can view all applicants, see their profiles, and Accept or Decline each one.

Billing & Subscription

What are the available plans?

Standard (from €79/month) gives full access to the load board, broker tools, company management and notifications. Elite (from €129/month) adds Elite-only loads and the full details of Top Paying loads (broker and exact addresses).

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Email partners@gigfreight.com to cancel and we cancel it for you. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period; it simply does not renew.

How is billing handled?

Billing is handled securely by Stripe. We never store your card details. You can manage your payment method and download invoices from the Stripe billing portal.

API & Integrations

Does GigFreight have an API?

Yes. Members with an active subscription can generate API keys and query the load board through the REST API (Elite keys also see Elite loads). See /api/v1/docs for the full endpoint documentation.

Can I import loads from a CSV file?

CSV import is available for platform administrators. If you need bulk load import, contact us at partners@gigfreight.com.
