Rules for trucks in Spain
- Tolls
- Some Spanish motorways (autopistas de peaje) are tolled, while the autovía network is largely toll-free.
- Driving restrictions
- The traffic authority (DGT) publishes truck restrictions on certain roads and dates each year, especially around holiday weekends; Catalonia and the Basque Country set their own.
- To France
- Most road freight to France crosses at the western (Irún–Hendaye) or eastern (La Jonquera–Le Perthus) end of the Pyrenees.
Planning in Spain
- Seasons and calendars
- Spanish fruit and vegetable exports from Almería, Murcia and Valencia run mainly from autumn to spring, the main season for reefer loads north to France and beyond.

- Carriers filter the board by origin, destination, date and vehicle type, and sort by rate or rate per kilometre.
- Members with an active paid subscription see the poster’s contact details and agree the job directly with them.

Questions about this board
Where do trucks cross from Spain to France?
Mostly at the two ends of the Pyrenees: Irún–Hendaye on the Atlantic side and La Jonquera–Le Perthus on the Mediterranean side.
Can I browse Spain loads without an account?
Load boards can be browsed without an account. Visitors see the route, dates, equipment and price of each load, but not the poster’s contact details.
How much does the Spain load board cost?
Standard membership for the Europe market costs €79 a month, €199 per quarter or €359 per six months. Elite, which adds Elite loads and priority matching, costs €129 a month. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial; you can cancel before it ends. Prices are in EUR.
Who can see loads on the Spain board?
Anyone can browse the listings. Accounts registered in the Europe market see loads in Europe and United Kingdom. Posting loads is restricted to active paid subscribers and valid trials: the load is posted from a broker account — shippers and forwarders use the same account type — of a verified company, and is published in that account’s own markets. Carriers and owner-operators use the board to find work.
Are broker contact details included in the free trial?
Broker and shipper contact details on a load are shown only to members with a fully paid, active subscription. A trial gives access to the platform but not to load contact details.
