How do I start posting loads on GigFreight USA?
Create a company account and upload your documents; our team reviews them. Posting loads is open to paid subscribers and to users in a valid trial. You can browse loads without an account.
Are carriers on the platform verified?
Not automatically. Any company can register and browse the board. Carriers can upload their DOT registration, MC authority, insurance certificate and W-9 for our team to review; companies we verify show a “Verified by GigFreight” badge on their company profile. Verification is required to post loads, not to register or browse.
What equipment types can I find loads for?
We support all major equipment types: cargo vans, sprinter vans, box trucks, straight trucks, flatbeds, dry vans, reefers, step decks, lowboys, and specialized heavy haul equipment.
How does the Smart Route feature work?
Smart Route is a tool for signed-in subscribers on the US board. You enter your truck's location, equipment, preferred states, home base and maximum deadhead; it ranks open US loads by estimated deadhead miles, fuel cost and profit. Distances are straight-line estimates and fuel uses an average diesel price, so check each load before you book.
Is GigFreight available for owner-operators?
Yes. Owner-operators register as carriers and get the same load board, filters and plans as larger fleets. Broker contact details are shown on an active paid plan.
What does it cost to use the platform?
Browsing the load board is free and needs no account. Contacts and posting need a paid plan (Standard or Elite; monthly, quarterly or semi-annual) with a 3-day trial. There is no commission per load. Current prices in USD are on the pricing page.
