GigFreight is a B2B freight marketplace connecting carriers, dispatchers and brokers across the EU and UK. Brokers post loads; carriers search, apply and track them through to delivery.
Is GigFreight free to use?
We offer a 3-day free trial on the Standard plan. A payment method is required at checkout, but you are not charged until the trial ends. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue accessing the platform.
What roles can I register as?
You can register as a Carrier (driver or fleet owner), Dispatcher (freight manager), or Broker (shipper). Your role determines what features are available to you.
Do I need to verify my company?
Company verification is optional but highly recommended. Verified companies receive a badge on their profile, which increases trust with brokers and carriers.
Loads & Searching
Which countries are covered?
GigFreight covers all 27 EU member states plus the United Kingdom β 30+ countries in total. We do not cover North America or Asia.
What vehicle types are supported?
We support Curtainsider (Tautliner), Refrigerated (Reefer), Box Trailer, Flatbed, Low Loader, Tanker, Container, Van, and more. All types use metric units (km, kg).
What is the Elite load tier?
Elite is a subscription tier for loads that are only visible to Elite subscribers. Brokers post Elite loads when they want fewer, higher-quality applicants. Elite loads typically offer better rates.
Can I save loads and come back later?
Yes. Any logged-in carrier or dispatcher can save loads to their Saved list and return to them from the Driver Dashboard.
How do I contact a broker?
Click "Express Interest" on any load. This notifies the broker, who can then accept or decline your application. If accepted, you can view the broker's contact details.
Posting Loads (Brokers)
How do I post a load?
Go to New Load in your dashboard. Fill in the pickup and delivery details, vehicle type, weight and rate. Loads are saved as drafts by default β you publish them when ready.
Can I duplicate a load I posted before?
Yes. From the Broker Dashboard, click the Duplicate button on any load. A copy is created as a Draft for you to edit before publishing.
What happens when a driver expresses interest?
You receive an in-app notification. The load status changes to "Has Interest". You can view all applicants, see their profiles, and Accept or Decline each one.
Billing & Subscription
What are the available plans?
Standard (β¬49/month) gives full access to the load board, broker tools, company management and notifications. Elite (β¬99/month) adds exclusive load visibility, API access, and a verified badge.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your account. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How is billing handled?
Billing is handled securely by Stripe. We never store your card details. You can manage your payment method and download invoices from the Stripe billing portal.
API & Integrations
Does GigFreight have an API?
Yes. Elite subscribers can generate API keys and access the REST API to query the load board. See /api/v1/docs for the full endpoint documentation.
Can I import loads from a CSV file?
CSV import is available for platform administrators. If you need bulk load import, contact us at support@gigfreight.com.
