Post loads
- Add origin, destination, pickup date, equipment, weight and your rate.
- Carriers browsing the US board see the load — the board is public, so it reaches carriers who have not signed up yet.
- Carriers register interest; you agree the load directly with the carrier you choose.
Find capacity
Search the USA truck board for carriers who have listed an available truck near your pickup, by equipment and date.
Before you book a carrier
- Check the carrier’s operating authority and insurance on FMCSA records.
- Confirm equipment, pickup window and detention terms in writing.
- Watch for double-brokering and identity fraud — verify contact details against the carrier’s FMCSA registration.

Frequently asked questions
Does GigFreight take a commission on loads?
No. Plans are a flat monthly, quarterly or six-month fee.
Which carriers see my loads?
US loads are visible to everyone browsing the US board; US accounts see US freight only.
Is there a load board for brokers to find shippers?
Not in the sense of a shipper list. A load board connects brokers with carriers: brokers post loads and search the truck board for capacity. Shippers can post loads on GigFreight too, using the same account type as brokers, but GigFreight does not sell shipper lists or shipper contact data. Brokers win shippers through their own sales work.
